Urban Terror 4.2.003

Urban Terror is a free multiplayer first person shooter game, that does not require Quake III Arena anymore. It is available for Windows, Linux and Macintosh.

Urban Terror can be described as a Hollywood tactical shooter; somewhat realism based, but the motto is "fun over realism". This results in a very unique, enjoyable and addictive game. It features realistic gameplay, much like in Counter Strike, except for a twist: you can jump off of walls and do other crazy things like that. Also, all the weapons are available at spawn, instead of a buy system. The same applies to the equipment. Another interesting idea is instead of realistic looking skins, there are orange and blue teams.

Please Note: Those of you who do not own Quake3 will need to download and install the ioUrbanTerror installer prior to installing the main 550MB file. You can get this file from the UrbanTerror website or here: http://www.gamershell.com/download_18565.shtml.

The gameplay in Urban Terror is absolutely fantastic, borderline perfect. The weapons connect when they´re supposed to connect, and not at any other time. Movement is easy to get used to.

System Requirements:

• 64 MB RAM
• 8 MB VRAM
• Around 650MB disk space

Obviously the higher your specs the smoother the gameplay.

Note: to update your Urban Terror 4.2, simply run the UrTUpdater, follow the onscreen instructions. and it should automatically update your game to the latest version including all the fixes.

How to install

Download the compressed file of your choice below, and simply extract the UrbanTerror42 folder to where you want.
Then run the UrTUpdater, follow the instructions on screen and you should be downloading the latest version of Urban Terror 4.2 !

The UrTUpdater can do two things:
1 Install a fresh copy of Urban Terror 4.2 .
2 Keep your Urban Terror 4.2 updated.

Red Eclipse is a free and multi-platform open source first-person shooter. It's a unique, fun, easy to play FPS game using SDL and OpenGL which allows to be ported to many platforms.

Red Eclipse is a single-player and multi-player first-person ego-shooter, built as a total conversion of Cube Engine 2, which lends itself toward a balanced gameplay, completely at the control of map makers, while maintaining a general theme of agility in a variety of environments.

• Resize – As a player´s your health decreases, so does their size.
• League – Attributes of character´s size and speed are determined by their choice of weapon.

Furthermore, Red Eclipse´s game modes could have multiple mutators to extend the mode, such as having Capture the Flag with the Instagib, Teamplay, and hover mutators, which enables one-shot-one-kill styled gameplay, and players to hover.
